After denying Jesus during the Passion, Peter encountered mercy and was restored, becoming a shepherd to the early Church. Filled with the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, he became a fearless witness, showing that true leadership in Christ is formed through repentance, humility, and grace.

Life Story
Early Life
Born Simon in Bethsaida, Peter was a fisherman before encountering Jesus. Called to leave everything behind, he followed Christ with a passionate and impulsive faith, becoming one of His closest disciples.
Walking with Christ
Peter witnessed the Transfiguration, walked on water, and boldly professed Jesus as the Messiah. Yet in a moment of fear, he denied Christ three times during the Passion—only to be met with mercy and restoration after the Resurrection.
Leader of the Church
Filled with the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, Peter emerged as the leader of the apostles, preaching boldly and guiding the early Church through persecution and growth.
Martyrdom
Peter eventually traveled to Rome, where he was martyred under Emperor Nero around AD 64–67. Tradition holds that he was crucified upside down, believing himself unworthy to die in the same manner as Christ.
